In Early March 2024, Apple released Firmware (FW) version 17.4 to their Apple TV customers. The quoted reason from Apple was this FW was released primarily to address "performance and stability."
However, this release has had serious impacts to other devices that customer's may be using to control their Apple TV because of a CEC control issue.

This includes Jubilee TV customers with Apple TVs.
There is a solution that will work for most customers with little impact to the user experience. This involves changing the control type to IR. This solution will involve changing an option in the Jubilee TV Settings and also ensuring that the Apple TV is within "line of sight" to the Jubilee TV.
